Dream Roles & Inspirations

Every voice actor’s path is lit by the voices that once moved their heart. For me, the brightest stars in my creative sky have always been Monkey D. Luffy and Prince Vegeta (might not since next-gen Dragon Ball possibly) and Son Gohan — three legendary characters who could not be more different, yet both carry a fire that inspires millions, myself included.

As NebulaVA, my ultimate dream is to one day bring these iconic roles to life — not simply by copying the voices that defined them, but by channeling the same energy, passion, and emotional truth that made them unforgettable in the first place.

☠️ Monkey D. Luffy – The Heart of Adventure

From the very first time I heard Luffy declare, “I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!”, something sparked deep inside me — a raw, fearless energy that refuses to back down no matter how impossible the odds.

Luffy isn’t just a cheerful protagonist; he’s an embodiment of boundless hope, loyalty, and the courage to stay true to your dream, even when the whole world says it’s foolish. His voice is both light and powerful: a playful, elastic tone that can erupt into fierce determination or sink into quiet, heartfelt resolve.

My dream to voice Luffy isn’t only about the excitement of shouting Gear Fourth attacks or epic speeches; it’s about honoring the soul of a character who’s made countless fans feel brave enough to chase their own “One Piece.” As a beginner voice actor, I’m focusing my training on capturing that soft yet spirited vocal quality — learning how to balance humor, innocence, and unstoppable willpower.

🩸 Son Gohan – The Heart of a Warrior Scholar

Where Luffy represents cheerful freedom, Gohan stands as the embodiment of hidden potential, compassion, and profound internal conflict. From the very beginning, he was never meant to be a fighter — a gentle child thrust into a world that demanded power. Yet when cornered, his strength has shocked gods, villains, and even his own family. Gohan’s story isn’t just about battles won; it’s about the ongoing struggle to reconcile who he wants to be with who he sometimes has to become.

To voice Gohan would mean channeling a uniquely balanced energy: calm, intelligent, and humble — yet capable of unleashing a primal fury when those he loves are threatened. His voice carries the echoes of childhood trauma, the soft determination of a scholar who values peace, and the unspoken pressure of living in the shadow of legends like Goku and Piccolo. Though I don’t yet possess the exact tonal range — that gentle, thoughtful voice that can explode into raw power — it’s my mission to train until I do, because Gohan’s journey deserves nothing less than complete dedication.

In Gohan, I see reflections of my own battles with doubt and the quiet drive to keep pushing forward even when it would be easier to step back. His growth shows that strength isn’t only forged in combat, but in the classroom, at home, and within the choices we make every day. It’s this complexity that makes him so timeless: a hero defined as much by restraint and kindness as by raw might.

And looking ahead to the next generation of Dragon Ball — when the torch inevitably passes — Gohan’s role becomes even more compelling. No longer just the reluctant hero, but the mentor, father, and guiding force for what comes next. To voice that Gohan — matured, wiser, carrying the legacy while nurturing new heroes — would be an honor beyond words.

His story reminds me that true power is not about loving to fight, but fighting because you love. And as I continue to grow as a voice actor, it remains my mission to become worthy of giving life to a character whose quiet heart and hidden strength have inspired millions — including me.

🌌 A Cosmic Mission Beyond the Microphone

My passion for these roles goes beyond technical skill or vocal mimicry. It’s about becoming part of a living legacy — voices that have comforted people during dark times, fueled childhood dreams, and united fans across continents.

I’m still a beginner, and I know the road ahead will be long, with many hours of practice, training, and self-discovery. But the dream of one day standing in the recording booth, stepping into the roles of Luffy and Son Gohan — and sharing that magic with a new generation — keeps me moving forward, even when the path feels as endless as the cosmos itself.

🚀 To every traveler who’s joined me here:
Thank you for believing in a voice actor whose story is only just beginning.
One day, I hope you’ll hear me shout “Gomu Gomu no…” with Luffy’s joy, or unleash Gohan’s quiet strength when the moment demands it — and know that no dream is too far away among the stars. 💫
